Embracing Your Awesome Self

For Grades 4-12

This engaging workshop is designed to help students embrace self-compassion and acceptance as key elements for success. Through interactive examples and demonstrations, students will learn how being kind to themselves and accepting their emotions are normal and important parts of personal growth. They'll become more aware of their inner critic and be introduced to practical techniques such as affirmations and positive self-talk. These tools empower students to handle mistakes with confidence and embrace their uniqueness, fostering a healthier mindset and greater resilience.

Navigating the Online Universe

For Grades 4-12

In today's digital world, understanding how to navigate social media safely and responsibly is crucial for students. This workshop educates students on the various social media apps and helps them recognize the signs that social media may be negatively impacting their lives. It highlights the consequences of inappropriate use and provides practical tips for online safety.

Students will also learn how to prevent and respond to cyberbullying, develop critical thinking skills when assessing online content, and become more aware of misinformation and its effects. Importantly, the workshop includes strategies to prevent social media from affecting self-esteem and offers tips for creating a healthy, balanced relationship with social media.

From Worrier to Warrior

For Grades 4-12

This empowering workshop helps students understand anxiety in an age-appropriate and relatable way. Through education on the different components of anxiety, students will learn how it manifests in their bodies and brains, enabling them to recognize the signs. Interactive demos and explanations will help differentiate between anxiety that can be helpful and anxiety that is not.

The workshop normalizes anxiety as a natural part of life, emphasizing that it can even be beneficial. Students will gain valuable coping strategies to manage anxiety when it arises, along with prevention techniques to reduce the likelihood of anxiety surfacing in the future.

Coping With Confidence

For Grades 9-12

This workshop empowers high school students by teaching the importance of healthy coping strategies and how they help manage emotions effectively. Students will learn how unhealthy coping strategies negatively impact brain health and the steps needed to start developing healthier habits.

The workshop will introduce 10 different healthy coping strategies, providing practical examples of when and how to use each one in real-life situations.

We have supported over 25 000 students and hundreds of parents and teachers in over 70 schools across 6 different school boards!
