10,000 Students - The 23/24 Year in Review!

This school year, we had the pleasure of working with 45 schools, supporting over 300 teachers, nearly 500 parents, and more than 10,000 students! We had such a fantastic year teaching about mental health, social media safety, how to build resiliency, and so much more!

The theme of the year was social media safety and the impact social media is having on mental health and body image. With the WHO classifying digital media use as a behavioural addiction, it’s important that we are having these conversations in our schools, communities and at home.

It was very interesting to work with hundreds of high school students who expressed feeling addicted to their devices and find it incredibly challenging to set boundaries for themselves. We spoke to hundreds of parents who are struggling with when to give their children access to social media apps and how to monitor their child’s online activity. When it comes to helping kids engage with social media in a way that supports their mental health, there’s no perfect answer. As adults, we’re all still learning too. Raising children who understand the risks and can engage in critical thinking when using the internet is crucial.

We are already looking forward to next year! We have some exciting new offers coming out that we can’t wait to share with you. Until then, we hope that you have a restful summer vacation!
